چکیده
An approach for wavelength characterization whereby dynamic Fresnel zone plate (FZP) patterns are written to a digital micromirror device (DMD) and used focus incoming light onto camera is proposed. The then assessed by scanning the focal length. Rectangular basis Zernike modes implemented match rectangular geometry of DMD, we believe first time. A procedure developed correct inherent aberrations optical system adjusting mode amplitudes, thus improving spot quality. aberration corrected FZPs assess focusing conditions needed four lasers different visible wavelengths ranging from blue (405 nm) near infrared (760 nm). able produce focused beams with width twice diffraction limit achieve resolution 3 nm. operational ultimately limited spectral bandwidth detector.

Compact single mode tunable laser using a digital micromirror device.
The wavelength tuning properties of a tunable external cavity laser based on multiplexed volume holographic gratings and a commercial micromirror device are reported. The 3x3x3 cm(3) laser exhibits single mode operation in single or multi colors between 776 nm and 783 nm with less than 7.5 MHz linewidth, 37 mW output power, 50 μs rise/fall time constant and a maximum switching rate of 0.66 KHz ...
متن کاملMotion-free hybrid design laser beam propagation analyzer using a digital micromirror device and a variable focus liquid lens.
To the best of our knowledge, we propose the first motion-free laser beam propagation analyzer with a hybrid design using a digital micromirror device (DMD) and a liquid electronically controlled variable focus lens (ECVFL). Unlike prior analyzers that require profiling the beam at multiple locations along the light propagation axis, the proposed analyzer profiles the beam at the same plane for...
متن کاملSpatially Fourier-encoded photoacoustic microscopy using a digital micromirror device.
We have developed spatially Fourier-encoded photoacoustic (PA) microscopy using a digital micromirror device. The spatial intensity distribution of laser pulses is Fourier-encoded, and a series of such encoded PA measurements allows one to decode the spatial distribution of optical absorption. The throughput and Fellgett advantages were demonstrated by imaging a chromium target. By using 63 spa...
متن کاملShaping Laguerre-Gaussian laser modes with binary gratings using a digital micromirror device.
Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) beams are used in many research fields, including microscopy, laser cavity modes, and optical tweezing. We developed a holographic method to generate pure LG modes (amplitude and phase) with a binary amplitude-only digital micromirror device (DMD) as an alternative to the commonly used phase-only spatial light modulator. The advantages of such a DMD include very high fram...
